Idaho Power gets demand response from EnerNOC

EnerNOC is providing Idaho Power with 65MW of demand response capacity in a five year deal. The Massachusetts-based energy management service provider will manage a network of commercial and industrial facilities served by Idaho Power, with the aim of reducing peak electricity demand. EnerNOC will install its technology for free if approval is received from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission. The company plans to begin delivering the capacity this summer.
