US-based mobile applications developer Emotive Communications is raising USD6.25m in a Series B funding round led by the Mayfield Fund. Other investors include D E Shaw Ventures and Bertelsmann Digital Media. Additionally, Emotive is also acquiring mobile games developer Sennari Entertainment for an undisclosed sum.
