ExtendMedia, a developer of video distribution software, has raised USD10m in Series C funding. Participants included return backers Atlas Venture, Venrock Associates and TVM.
Founded in 1991, ExtendMedia provides software and services that enable digital content providers to distribute videos online. The company’s flagship application, OpenCASE, is a platform that enables clients to provide managed content services across multiple networks and consumer devices.
