Social networking giant Myspace and password management firm Vidoop are launching an OpenID extension for the Flock browser. The extension moves a step closer to full data availability and allows Flock users to see when a site has an OpenID login. Myspace is hoping gain ground on Facebook’s rival Connect service, which is set to extend its reach through partnerships with Digg, Hulu and others.
