    An enlightened approach to an operational"challenge"

    Sales and Marketing will often differ in their perception
    of the market's needs, and neither is incorrect

    Sales personnel will generally contact existing
    customers and pre-qualified prospects and report on
    their needs while Marketers will be casting a broader
    net which should identify the needs of the "non-
    customer" which could give the opportunity to adjust
    the offer to appeal to a broader market, or other
    segments.

    One thing's for sure - you better be talking to your
    customer, because it's a given that your opposition is!
