MAp Airports Ltd says it has completed the internalisation of its management, with several senior management changes.

The airport asset owner, formerly known as Macquarie Airports Ltd, received securityholder approval of its split from Macquarie Group on September 30.

MAp is to make a cash payment of $345 million to Macquarie in exchange for the management rights, with the funds to be raised by way of a rights issue to MAp stapled security holders.

MAp said on Friday the internalisation involved the appointment of John Roberts as a director of the company, after he resigned as an alternate director to Max Moore-Wilton on the MAp Airports International Ltd board.

Christine Williams and Dennis Leong also have resigned as company secretaries of MAp Airports Ltd, and Sally Webb has been appointed as sole company secretary.

MAp stapled securities have adopted new constitutions.

The group has stakes in airports in Sydney, Brussels, Copenhagen and a Mexican airport group.
